The official launch price for IRON NEST was $19.99 in the United States and €19.99 in Europe. A 25 percent launch discount brought the US price to $14.99 during the early release window.
That discount was temporary. Storefront pricing, regional pricing, and sales can change, so the price shown by the store at checkout is the current one.

Buying and downloading are the same route
Use the Buy, Install, or Download Demo control on an official storefront. The Steam listing is the main release page. GOG is the DRM-free option.
A free mirror, repack, or grey-market key does not have the same update and support chain. If a storefront does not show the expected product, check the official announcement feed before downloading elsewhere.
The demo is free and the full game is paid
The Steam demo has its own AppID and can be downloaded without buying the base game while its page remains available. The full release is a paid product.
No paid DLC, season pass, or microtransaction had been announced on the August 12 check date. That describes the state of the official pages on that date and does not promise that future content will always be free.
