Target-family advice comes from player reports. No complete current-build roster has been established.
The public material does not contain a complete mission-by-mission target list. Player reports do agree on one useful distinction. Soft targets call for area damage, while supply and command points call for a precise shot.
Match the target to the shell family

Area ammunition can also damage friendly units in range. When friendlies are close to a supply or command target, the precise option matters more than the size of the blast.

What the current sources do not establish
One community guide supplies a campaign mission count and several ending names. That information has not been corroborated well enough to support an all-targets database.
The official Steam page confirms a handcrafted campaign in alternate-history 1920s Spain. Patch records also name individual missions when describing fixes. Neither source publishes every target and objective.
A complete list should record the mission, target label, required effect, nearby friendlies, build, and source. Until that material exists, a short target-family guide is more useful than a confident list with unknown origins.
Make the choice in this order
- Read the requested effect in the mission order.
- Decide whether the target needs area damage or precision.
- Check for friendly units near the aim point.
- Choose the shell before dispensing powder or loading the gun.
- Keep the target and shell choice on the firing card.
Use the loading guide once the shell is chosen.
